Bayview Behavioral Hospital, a campus of Corpus Christi Medical Center, is open and accepting children, adolescent and adult patients for the treatment of both addictive disorders and mental health issues.  Bayview Behavioral Hospital, previously owned by Padre Behavioral Hospital, has been acquired by Corpus Christi Medical Center, an HCA affiliate. 

“Residents of the Coastal Bend Communities will now have greater access to reliable psychiatric services and the medical care they need,” said Susan Andrews, Chief Operating Officer at Corpus Christi Medical Center. “The medical staff and nurses at both Corpus Christi Medical Center campuses – Bayview Behavioral Hospital and Northwest Behavioral Health Center–are prepared to treat the psychiatric needs of patients 24-hours a day.”

As part of Corpus Christi Medical Center continuum of care, Bayview Behavioral Hospital is a 68-bed behavioral health facility. From children to adults, services are available in a range of formats to best treat both the patient and the illness – from inpatient to outpatient services.  Our services are provided by an expert team of professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, dieticians, and other mental health professionals. Our program is designed to provide quality care and stabilization for patients, in a safe secure setting utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
